Rent in Makati, Fort Bonifacio, or Rockwell

Makati, Rockwell, Fort Bonifacio When looking to Rent in Makati, a couple nearby locations often go overlooked. Rockwell and Fort Bonifacio are two modern locations located in and bordering Makati (respectively.) While I cannot say exactly why these locations often go unnoticed, they are important to consider and view before making any decision. Here is some basic information:

Rockwell: Rockwell is located near the Bel-Air housing village and at the end of Rockwell Drive. Rockwell consists of several high-rise apartment and condo buildings, and is home to the Power Plant Mall, an upscale mall with everything you could want, with live piano music and other ensembles perform. Rockwell is considered by many to be Makati’s upper scale of living and entertainment. The night life is not as rich and diverse as central Makati, but is certainly a safe haven for families and those looking for a slice of paradise in a busy city. Rockwell is a very quiet location in Makati at night, as only those living in the area drive through it at night. Gates to Rockwell close (unless you are a resident) at midnight, and open again at 5am, daily. Rockwell is an ideal location for those working in Makati and wanting to escape the busy, noisy Makati atmosphere.

Fort Bonifacio: Nicknamed “The Fort”, Fort Bonifacio is actually located in Makati’s neighboring city, Taguig (aka Global City). Though there is still a confusion in the official name of The Fort, everyone agrees it is a very nice city in the Philippines. Located in the property of a former 20th century US military base, Fort Bonifacio exists today as a well-planned city that is growing at a very fast pace. The Fort is being regarded as Makati’s future competition. There is a well-planned road system, several high rise residential and office buildings, and a great night life scene. One current disadvantage about living in Fort Bonifacio is that most ex-pats you will meet are located (and hang out) in Makati Central. This may change in the future, but the trip to-and-from The Fort and Makati is about 10-15 minutes with no traffic, and upwards of 30 minutes to an hour during peak traffic.

The decision between living in Makati, Fort Bonifacio, or Rockwell is not too difficult to make. We recommend the following to consider for deciding: Where is your office located? Where are your friends located? Which city is best for your family to live? Where are the best schools located? How is the traffic situation from where you want to live to where you need to travel every day?

When you know the answers to the above questions, the location of where you should choose to live will fall in place. We here at RentInMakati.com can help you with any question, and work towards a perfect solution for you.
